HRT @ Bantu Film Festival Gaborone Botswana

….and we’re back in Africa. The HRT team together with 2 Batswanan tattoo artists will be part of the Bantu Film Festival during their upcoming edition October.

The Bantu Film Festival is a Pan-African festival held annually in Botswana. The festival aims to celebrate African excellence in African cinema by creating a sense of community among filmmakers through capacity building, panel discussions and film screenings. The festival will take place in Gaborone, Botswana from 8-12 October at the New Capitol Cinema, Riverwalk and University of Botswana under the theme “Unifying Africa through Cinema.”

When

On the 9th of October we will be having pre-registration starting at 10am till 01pm.

On the 10th of October we will be hosting the main human rights tattoo event from 11am till 05pm.

If you would like to be considered to be one of the recipients of a tattoo this is how it works.
Applications will be partially granted through on-line pre-applications here below and partially on pre-registration at the venue on 9 October from 09.00 – 13h00. To apply now please click below to fill in the form. Basically we will select on a first-come -first-serve basis.
As always the tattoos are free of charge, all we ask is IF you can afford to pay a ‘Pay What You Can’-donation.
